Chosen Road is an exceptional band with a unique and captivating sound, blending world-class Appalachian instrumentation with a passion for sharing and living the Gospel. Since their formation in 2009, founding member Jonathan Buckner, Zachary Alvis, Tyler Robertson, and Josh Hicks have been perfecting their craft, releasing six albums and performing at festivals, fairs, churches, and theaters across the United States and overseas.

Their music has earned widespread recognition, with their 2020 album, Appalachian Worship, reaching #4 on Billboard’s Top Bluegrass Albums chart and remaining in the top 10 for an impressive 30 weeks. The group's 2021 album, Appalachian Hymns, spent eight weeks in the top 10 on the same chart, while their first holiday album, Appalachian Christmas, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Bluegrass Albums chart, alongside other renowned artists like Dolly Parton and Robert Plant/Alison Krauss. The band's latest album, It Never Gets Old, released in 2023, has been critically acclaimed and landed at #2 on the Billboard Magazine chart, with the lead single "I Want To Be Just Like You," hitting #1 on Bluegrass Today's radio airplay chart.

Chosen Road has produced eight top 10 bluegrass radio singles, including the #1 hit “When I Get Home.” They have performed alongside bluegrass greats like Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Dailey & Vincent, and the Isaacs, as well as CCM artists Phil Wickham, Zach Williams, and Crowder. With deep roots in the Baptist tradition, the band has an ongoing partnership with the North American Mission Board’s (NAMB) Church Replant and Revitalization Team, where they help raise awareness about the number of churches that close each year. Recently, the group wrote and recorded the theme song for The Rural Pastor Podcast.

Chosen Road's music is not only inspiring and uplifting but also a testament to the group's unparalleled talent and dedication. Their exceptional ability to combine traditional Appalachian sounds with their passion for spreading the Gospel has earned them a well-deserved place among the top bluegrass artists in the industry.
